3. I cannot check, as currently factory packages seem to have messed up my installation completely (kdm doesn't even start, I only can start sessions with "autologin").
I just downgraded to Qt 4.4, as Qt 4.5 doesn't seem to be supported for KDE4.2 any more. This rendered my KDE4 unbootable ("cannot start kdeinit4"), however, even here the keyboard did no longer work. Concerning KDE4, Factory seems to be in some mess right now :-/
