Thanks for the update, it's good to know why.  I've had happily been using the
easy-way for the past two decades, after that long it's about time you took
some time off :-)

Just to be clear about this bug report. I'm not dismissing the easy-way or
OpenSUSE's efforts at providing it. I just wanted to contribute some
suggestions for improvements in the light of experiences in a corner case.
