Probably related to this bug. I noticed that when simply moving a window around gnoem-shell uses 100% of its current core. Interestingly the same happens simply while typing in Telegram. I noticed the latter because every time I typed, a video running in a separate window would begin to stutter. This is while using the X-Server.
