When it fails, ifconfig shows only the lo interface. Ifup appears to bring up the interface, but it does not work. Both systems that fail were configured to use ifup. The one system that doesn't fail uses network manager plasmoid. One failing system is 64 bit, the other 32. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Reboot computer 2.Only lo interface avaible 3.
