I just did so, and it looks like the old Leap 42.3 kernel is actually a few seconds *slower* to boot when compared with the Leap 15.0 version. I do still think feel like the system is slower to boot than before, but it's probably not a kernel issue, and no easy way to verify the previous boot time with 42.3.
