Just to clarify you start the programs immediately after s2ram and they fault? If you start them like 30s later does it still happen? If yes: Somehow you must be racing with a microcode update. When the CPU comes out of S3 the microcode has been reset, so it gets updated. It could be that some of the CPUs being onlined update later.
