Sorry, but this has to work, as by default a huge numbers of (paying!)
customers had complained for the SLES version to get back the old network
scheme.  For openSUSE I had add some shell code to switch to the new network
scheme to see what happens (bugs like this one e.g.), that is that the patch
will be modified.  If you think this is not maintainable we could also use two
patches, one 1021 and one 1021a with the appropriate comments in the patch
header.

Btw: In meanwhile the old network scheme is valid again even with vanilla
systemd if and only if the network device names are unique, compare with
commit:
