If you think it's a bug, please provide logs.
In this case, ~/.xsession-errors-:0 would probably be helpful.

Or try to log in to IceWM, run "plasmashell" in an xterm and post the output.

And more information is necessary too, like what display manager are you using,
what repos, what graphics card.

Maybe try to run "zypper dup", that may help you already.
