My mistake, I should have specified the wrong product platform. In fact, I was
only testing on sle micro 6.0

My virtualization host is sle15sp5 x86_64, install and manage sle micro using
KVM, and then installing open-vm-tools on sle micro, encountered errors when
running the vmhgfs-fuse command directly.
