Just to let you know - running older kernels to test may take some time... I
installed kernel-desktop-3.14.6-1 (as I know it was an OpenSuse 13.1 version I
was able to have the wireless card running under).

After trying to boot into that older kernel, it reminded me of the heck of a
time I had to get Display working with my Radeon HD 8470D when I first
installed OpenSuse 13.1. Nothing but a black screen.

I can't remember what I ended up doing to get it to work.. and without that, we
can't really test much :)

I'll have to do some Googling to remember what I did to get up and running.
