openQA test fails in aaa_base: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1162725#step/aaa_base/12 'get_kernel_version' is not able to work on xz compressed vmlinux. On my aarch64 and x86_64 systems, the behavior is the same: 'get_kernel_version /boot/vmlinux-5.3.12-2-default.gz' returns: '5.3.12-2-default' as expected, but: 'get_kernel_version /boot/vmlinux-5.4.13-1-default.xz' returns nothing on stdout, and '1' on stderr.
