Comment # 40 on bug 944978 from Takashi Iwai

OK, I set up a quick fix KMP for Leap kernel in OBS
home:tiwai:bnc944978/rtl8821ae repo.  It takes some time until it's built and
published.

In the above, there are two repos, standard and devel.  The former is for the
current OBS openSUSE:Leap:42.1 and the latter is for OBS Kernel:openSUSE-42.1
repo.

Once when you installed KMP (choose the right one for your running kernel, i.e.
*-kmp-desktop.rpm), check whether you see the update module.  The command
below:

  modinfo rtl8821ae | grep filename

should show the path containing "/updates/" or "/weak-updates/".
