@Rudi Can you confirm that this split is still needed and allows for way better
parallelism when doing full distro-rebuilds?

I'm completely out of the game with tracking dependency graphs these days,
you'd have to ask coolo or ludwig about this. but in general these dependencies
do only get worse over time and never better (at least I
can't even remember a single case).
