Yes, with:

- your patches to mutter
- hyper-threading disabled in BIOS
- the latest TW kernel with the updated default config 

# CONFIG_PREEMPT_NONE is not set
CONFIG_PREEMPT_VOLUNTARY=y
# CONFIG_PREEMPT is not set

Then responsiveness is spot on.

I'll post another screencap for comparison.
