This bug is still not fixed. I just did a zypper dup, installed the latest kernel as well, 4.5.4-2.gb14d2a1-default, and it's still happening. The kmp fix is never in use because it always lags behind the kernel version that is offered by the repo. So whenever I do an update, I update both together, but the versions don't match. I know it would be possible for me to do further testing, but is there a reason for it? We know the latest kernel has this bug, and when the kmp fix was tried, it seemed to work reliably.
