UEFI Windows 8.1 system, out of the box (and also when restored) has 8
partitions. By default opensuse 13.2 proposes shrinking one partition (OK), and
deleting another (bad). The partition type GUID for the partition it suggests
deleting is Intel Rapid Start D3BFE2DE-3DAF-11DF-BA40-E3A556D89593, gdisk code
8400. This partition is necessary to support fast boot time on Windows, by
default it contains a hibernation-like image on shutdown and when deleted
corruption of the Windows volume ensues since the system isn't resumed
properly.
The bug is two fold: mainly the problem is the suggested partitioning is a bad
suggestion. Second, even though it shows in red text that it will delete
partition /dev/sda7 there's no description at all what this partition is for
the user to make an informed decision.
