I installed the sensord package. It provides
/usr/lib/systemd/system/sensord.service which has the following entry:
 EnvironmentFile=/etc/sysconfig/sensord
Since /etc/sysconfig/sensord is missing, the service sensord cannot be started.
The corresponding error messages in /var/log/messages are
 systemd[1]: Starting Log hardware monitoring data...
 systemd[1]: Failed to load environment files: No such file or directory
 systemd[1]: sensord.service failed to run 'start' task: No such file or
directory
 systemd[1]: Failed to start Log hardware monitoring data.

Reproducible: Always
