Thanks. Then it doesn't seem to have anything with Yast.
We don't know why it is solved this way and we don't
maintain (understand) kiwi-config-openSUSE.

If there was a way to do it directly in Yast code, then the use case
needs to be properly described (FATE might suit quite well) and then
implemented. Patches are expected to break from time to time.
