Click on the "settings" button in the top-right corner of plasma-nm's popup (i.e. when you left-click on the icon in the system tray) and you will get KDE's connection editor, where you can also modify existing connections. Sorry, not a bug. And not a new change either. That's how things work in the "new" plasma-nm that replaced the old plasmoid-networkmanagement in openSUSE 13.2 (and already was available in 13.1 as "technological preview", just not installed by default).
