Monit is broken on Leap 42.1 as the pid file directory is not set properly at compile time. The bit in the spec file that handles it references the wrong (non existent) patch. The perl command substituting the placeholders in patch2 doesn't seem to work either. The result is an invalid pid file directory so monit commands do not work. Fix is trivial. I'm happy to do a submit request if package maintainer and maintenance are ok with it.
