Good to hear that we have a workaround now. One more favor: could you take alsa-info.sh snapshot again on both working and non-working cases, but after performing the following: echo 1 > /sys/module/snd_hda_codec/parameters/dump_coef ?? The previous alsa-info.sh outputs didn't show any significant difference that may cause the silence, and it's likely some missing COEF setup.
