I realise this bug was closed quite some time ago, but a friend pointed me at it today, so thought I'd add the following. I'd guess that if it works when you remove perl-IO-Socket-INET6, then amavis is enabling IPV6 based on the existence of that Perl module, rather than on whether or not IPV6 is actually enabled on the base system. Is this something that should be pushed upstream, to change how it checks for IPV6 enablement?
