Here's where things stand now: 6.2.1 is in http://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/ but with the addition of 'lockdown patches' (see https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/factory@lists.opensuse.org/thread/APEWGMWSEABQ5ZFGZ2I5M3MWJERZ4K7I/) NVIDIA .run usage is broken. I'm unable to boot 6.2.1 w/ bbswitch installed (seems like 'prime-select intel' requires it - the output of 'prime-select get-current' is weird otherwise) as I get a hardlock w/in 60s (usually 30s) - so I can't discern if the Intel iGPU is actually being used. For now, I'm locking to 6.2.0 since there are no hardlocks and NVIDIA works (SecureBoot enabled, module signed and loaded) as it has for 95% of kernels TW puts out. $ rpm -qi kernel-default Name : kernel-default Version : 6.2.0 Release : 1.3 Architecture: x86_64 Install Date: Tue 07 Mar 2023 10:16:05 AM EST Group : System/Kernel Size : 313818115 License : GPL-2.0-only Signature : RSA/SHA512, Tue 28 Feb 2023 01:49:37 PM EST, Key ID 35a2f86e29b700a4 Source RPM : kernel-default-6.2.0-1.3.nosrc.rpm Build Date : Tue 28 Feb 2023 01:45:48 PM EST Build Host : goat01 Packager : https://bugs.opensuse.org Vendor : openSUSE URL : https://www.kernel.org/ Summary : The Standard Kernel Description : The standard kernel for both uniprocessor and multiprocessor systems.
