Opensuse systemd doesn't ship with the python bindings could these be enabled. I'm building salt packages which uses these bindings to notify systemd of starting the service. Upstream bug reports: https://github.com/saltstack/salt/issues/16912 https://github.com/saltstack/salt/issues/16982 If Opensuse/sles could ship with python bindings enabled in systemd it would make packaging this much easier. At the moment I have a workaround in place where I patch the default service file shipped from upstream to disable the Notify and use Simple as startup. I would like to see that this patch isn't needed anymore.
