No, it appears that Refind DID find sd-boot, and I tested it. So far so good. > > How does rEFIind handle secure boot? For secure boot to do what it's > supposed to, rEFInd should refuse to load any kernel (or other EFI binary) I don't have secure boot and can't answer this questions authoritavely. I will ask the dev for answers. > > Why do you say that a separate ESP is necessary for every TW installation? There is the case where you don't want one installation to touch anything another Linux does. So the only way it to have separate ESPs. However, in my case I found to keep the main ESP untouched, I could simply create another one and use that for multiple TW, etc. So really only 2 ESPs are needed to keep the main one (in my case with RefindPlus and OpenCore) untouched. So a minimum of 2 ESPs, or go wild with one per linux to ensure they don't mess with each other. Although I was initially concerned about this, having 2 is fine with me and no longer an issue. Keep in mind that if no boot manager is installed, you don't even need the one extra. This is now how the current TW works when saying NO boot manager.
