more and more games that come in through steam need newer base libraries than the versions that suse provides - Neverwinter Nights, for example, needs GLIBC 2.27 or better. I think there would be a way to include a compatibility library folder under /usr/share/steamtricks that could have the needed libs so they don't interfer with what openSUSE itself needs, but are available for games that need them.
