Okay. I'm going to assume the other people just did not turn off the Automatic
Login option during the install process as I do not have the exact same issue.
When I turn my computer on, I get the KDM screen. So, let's put that aside and
focus on my specific issue, which is that KDM does not always lock when coming
back from suspend.


I just tested closing my laptop lid for 5 seconds, both while plugged in and
while on battery power. Both times, the KDM login screen popped up and
requested my password. There have been times where I close the lid for 5-10
minutes and when I open the lid it does not prompt me for the password. Are
there any logs that would show this behavior?
