Somewhere in my hacking around, only one of the two stereo channels is functioning. I suspect this was something I did accidentally in aumix, but now I cannot get aumix to work at all. I have experimented with adding and removing the probe_mask=1 line to /etc/modprobe.d/sound and it is strangely inconsistent. Removing it makes sound fail, but not on the next boot, it fails on another boot a while later. Am I imagining things?
