Comment # 2 on bug 1172914 from David Rankin

After updates today, I can "Shutdown Computer" from the KDE3 log out menu and I
am not prompted for the root password and I am no longer dumped to the shell.

So shutdown from kdm3 is working fine in 15.2 as of today. The contents of the
kdmrc currently used is:
