nomodeset doesn't help at all. BTW, isn't that option included in the install safe setttings? I tried kernel versions 4.1.12-1-default, 4.1.13-5-default and 4.2.7-2-default, none of these work, either with or without nomodeset. The only kernel that works is 4.1.12-1-vanilla & 4.1.13-5-vanilla. Is there any way to get more debug output from the kernel? Like I said, all I get is: Loading Linux 4.1.13-5-default ... Loading initial ramdisk ... And then the computer hard freezes. Thanks!
