I applied it to kernel 3.16.7-24-desktop and it worked fine. It also worked fine with all previous kernel versions. However, it didn't work with 3.16.7-29-desktop for some unknown reason. It worked fine again with version 4.1.12. Today I upgraded from OS 13.2 to Leap and now I am testing if the patch still works.
