Also, the 1.1 branch of lxc is no longer supported upstream. So even using the latest version (1.1.5) and backporting the fixes I have in my packages to allow starting the container without either of these lines is not a really good option. Upgrading to 2.0.x, which is supported until 2021 seems the best option, in my eyes. But I have no clue if this is feasible/allowed.
