Interesting and I think I can reproduce. At least I see a difference between Firefox and Chrome. Since in the package we are not fiddling with that (AFAICT) have you also tried an upstream Firefox tarball probably? In case it's the same there do you prefer to open a bugreport upstream or do you expect me to do that?
