Cool, thanks for setting this up!

For the record, these are the instructions that worked for me

$ sudo zypper ar -r
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Dead_Mozay:/branches:/openSUSE:/Factory/openSUSE_Factory/home:Dead_Mozay:branches:openSUSE:Factory.repo
$ sudo zypper dup --from home_Dead_Mozay_branches_openSUSE_Factory
--allow-vendor-change

And even though the package is a branch of openSUSE_Factory, which sounds
scary, it only brings in mutter with 4 additional patches:

The following 4 packages are going to be upgraded:
  libmutter-3-0 mutter mutter-data mutter-lang

In my testing the lag situation seems to be improved, although not completely
smooth yet:

- when hitting the 'super' key to open the applications menu, the delay is much
smaller, but still noticeable
- when pressings the 'show applications' button there is a definite
stutter/delay when the application icons should be flying in

So a definite improvement, but still not as it should be.
