Unfortunately, the network icon in the system tray is a feature of
NetworkManager and not available when using wicked.

Ok, if you don't see the problem using NetworkManager there is no need to
assign this bug to the NetworkManager team.
Pawel, you can go ahead and implement the script into the wicked package.
