Comment # 7 on bug 1029651 from Max Staudt

We've seen tons of problems with Nouveau, especially with KDE on Leap 42.2 and
newer. The bug you're describing is really strange though, and could be a
problem with the Nouveau DDX.


Please try the following three things, in this order:

1. sudo zypper remove Mesa-dri-nouveau && sudo zypper addlock Mesa-dri-nouveau

2. sudo zypper remove xf86-video-nouveau

3. Install the NVIDIA binary driver.
