Hi Roger,

thanks for your tests. You have a quite strange behaviour with the monitors
powering on by themselves. But the most important result was, that the keeping
powered off state of DP-1 can be reproduced just with xset and without any
screensaver. So I would assume this is most likely a driver bug in the kernel
or Xorg (more likely the first one).
So, I'm reclassifying this to the Kernel component.
