Comment # 30 on bug 976250 from sd fs

Fyi, I booted the Opensuse install disc with

...
bios = 'ovmf'
bios_override = '/usr/share/qemu/ovmf-x86_64.bin'
builder = 'hvm'
xen_platform_pci = 1
device_model_version="qemu-xen"
...

I get to the main menu, and can select "Installer".

The installer launches and I can get to the "Create Partition Setup" screens
and start making changes.  I haven't taken it further yet.

So I can get this far with a 'clean' install.

I just can't boot any existing, previously working Guests.




Also, I don't know if it matters, but I see the "Product" for this BUG is set
to "Opensuse Tumbleweed".  My OP, referenced in Comment #1, was for Opensyse
Leap 42.1, and that's still what I'm using & reporting about.
