I confirmed this bug because my trace also began with:
kernel BUG at ../fs/btrfs/extent_io.c:2875!

This is on a fresh openSUSE 12.3 installed on a Thinkpad x220 in UEFI mode
about a week ago. I ran into the bug today, as I was multi-tasking with ~2GB
of used memory and ~6GB free. Amarok keep hanging when it tried to play a file
I had copied to my hard drive from my user-data backup. I switched to a
konsole, and decided to poke the offending file with:

echo "" > file.flac

The command hung, so I ran dmesg, and started a btrfs scrub. The scrub
complete without any errors. I am going to run another one after I reboot, but
don't expect it to find anything. The smartctl log is good, and I recently ran
memtest86+ overnight, which was also 100% good. I'm not sure if it's relevant,
but I have an Intel 320 SSD. Finally, scrolling and keyboard input began to
have about one second of lag around this event, and has continued ever since,
so I really hope we're not losing debug info by me rebooting, but I need to get
work done.
