Thank you so much for the information. It seems recently mdadm/md don't fix the
issue indeed.

Can I ask your favor to offer me the detailed command lines to create and
reproduce the situation you encounter currently? If I can reproduce the similar
behavior as you experienced, it will be much easier for me to debug and
communicate with upstream developers.
