Comment # 21 on bug 1104851 from Dr. Werner Fink

Enabled all modules for i915 and display outout as well in BIOS then disabled
the radeon card and switched from Display Port to HDMI.  After start in
runlevel 3 aka non graphic mode, starting the X server with modesetting driver
gives a black screen and a deadlock. In comparison the intel driver starts
without immediately daedlock but a few seconds later on I see mouse pointer and
the system is locked up.

Going back to working setup as now my daughter has to do her home work
