Frankly, I don't care that you don't have any idea why.

Your little snit-fits are making it really difficult to want to continue to
help.

If you'd like an answer, just ask politely for a change.  If you can't manage
-- then just keep it to yourself.

As to the specific issue of opening the other bug -- since you 'asked', more or
less --

I opened it to make the backport request separately from this issue.

First, it seemed more efficient.  It proved to be, as Charles quickly and
politely addressed it.  Case closed.

And it was eminently clear that YOU weren't going to do a thing about it here.
