Not really.

I looked into it a couple of months ago, but didn't find time yet to continue.

What I can tell so far:
- the crash on exit only seems to happen if you open the settings (the crash is
in khtml btw), but the window size is not saved without the crash either, so
the two are unrelated
- there is code to save the window size but it's not connected to anything,
that's obviously the reason why it isn't remembered. (i.e. incomplete porting
to Qt5/KF5)

All of this are upstream problems though (with open upstream bug reports),
unfortunately nobody else seems to care about fixing them either.
