output of journlctl -b

Initially i was running Leap 15.0 and had my wifi interface configured with
wicked. I need that, because i need a fix ip address for this machine.

Then i upgraded to Leap 15.1 and from then on, i failed to get a working wifi
interface. I saved my /home file system somewhere else and next did an initial
install of Leap 15.1: same result, wifi refused to function.

Finally i thought something had broken in my laptop, so i ordered an USB wifi
interface only to disover it had the same issues.

As a last try i configured the interface for NetworkManager and was amazed to
se it work without issues.

Switching back to wicked i saw messages saying:

(i'll attach the full journal)

This looked very much like bug 917106 and 915025 (13.2 bugs), except that in my
/etc/wicked/common.xml there is a line saying "<use-nanny>true</use-nanny>"
which was the solution there.

So this must be something new ...

This is on a Lenovo T530. The FN+F5 and side switch enable the wifi (led is on)

I haven't found a way around NetworkManagaer yet
