http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=596842 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=596842#c0 Summary: UI: set one buttons order and use it all the time Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Milestone 4 Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bluedzins@wp.pl QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.1; U; ru) Presto/2.5.22 Version/10.51 Part 1: Establish one buttons order and use it all the time (I am here referring to installer, but such strict policy should be used in all products). It is either: no/back/cancel -- yes/next/accept or vice versa but not both. Please check entire installer, examples of "clash" -- the main part uses the first scheme, while password checker used the second, the confirmation of the installation also uses the second one. The issue of current random order is the topic of this report. Below is just my suggestion. Part 2 (remark): I opt either for first version, or for dynamic, depending on the language. For example, it is natural to see buttons back next because it is how "time" flows. But maybe for Arabian speakers it would be more natural to see it in RTL order, i.e. next back Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
