This isn't papering over an error it is building jack in a way that it works.
I don't think that using git is warranted.


1.9.12 is quite old. What is TW's policy for providing not-stable versions of
apps and libs, should them be tested for a while by members or whatever?

kxstudio uses 1.9.12+git20190321 for example
