after upgrade from Leap 15.1 the ipmievd daemon from the package ipmitool (version 1.8.18+git20200204.7ccea28-lp152.1.3) is not starting on Leap 15.2. No significant error code. This is happening on all upgraded systems, so it doesn't depend on a distinct hardware (but all are Supermicro systems e.g. on a X10SRW-F motherboard) . The ipmitool commandline (e.g. ipmitool sel list) tool itself is working. A verbose start with "/usr/sbin/ipmievd -v sel daemon" is tracing the following: Loading IANA PEN Registry... Running Get VSO Capabilities my_addr 0x20, transit 0, target 0 Invalid completion code received: Invalid command Discovered IPMB address 0x0 But the trace is the same on Leap 15.1 systems.
