I just tried with the 525.89.02 version directly from Nvidia site, and I saw
the same problems, those are actually evident since the log-in screen, but I
logged in just in case and saw the same issues, with one of the screens never
working and another one not either most of the times.

I switched back to binary 525.85.05 and everything's working again. So I would
say that it looks like the packaging was not the culprit, at least this time.
