It's strange to see this error. The error status is from HandleProtocol() and
it only happens when at least one of the parameters is NULL, but I didn't see
any possibility in the current code. Besides, the previous shim also used the
same code, and it seems okay in your machine.

Could you paste the output of "dmidecode"? At least we can collect the list of
affected machines.
