hi can get past grub fine now (could not before or would not even load) and the installer starts. so seems the fixed solved the RTAS issue. the ISO installer starts but can't find the installation medium (cd: or hd:) the NET installer starts but can't get DHCP from eth0 (the machine has a fixed IP normally) but I figure those our later when I have a bit more time. so yes RTAS issue is solved Regard,
